Its primary aim is to change the perception of bamboo from “The Poor Man’s Timber” to “Wise Man’s timber” by providing plastic product replacements using innovative bamboo products such as bamboo toothbrushes, bamboo earbuds, corporate gift articles and many more. The primary objective for the existence of the initiative is to solve a big problem by adding value to the existing bamboo product development process to meet the following conditions: 1) utilize technology for bamboo processing and product development, 2) develop innovative products, and 3) do something that the Government has ignored or has not done properly to solve a big problem. By end of December 2025, it targets associating more than 1,000 families as part of the Bamboo India mission and reducing 10 lakh kg of plastic waste across the globe every year by using innovative bamboo products.
