MYPB originated from founder Pujan Jayantibhai Kachhadiya’s aspiration to start a business after completing a B.Sc. in 2018. Financial constraints initially led him to spend three years preparing for government exams, during which time the family’s situation improved. His elder brother, Maulik Jayantibhai Kachhadiya, supported his entrepreneurial goals with both emotional backing and practical business knowledge. While researching opportunities from Amreli, Gujarat, known as the Peanut Hub of India, he discovered peanut butter powder on U.S. Amazon as a bestselling product and learned it was nutritionally far superior to regular peanut butter, with less fat and more protein. Disappointed by the taste of existing Indian peanut butter powders and impressed by the flavor of a U.S. version he ordered, he decided that India deserves a truly delicious and healthy peanut butter powder. Without any background in food technology and in the absence of readily available machinery lines in India for producing such a specialized product, he traveled over 30,000 kilometers and conducted more than 200 unsuccessful trials during research and development. Persisting through these challenges, he ultimately created MYPB, described as India’s first, healthiest, and most delicious peanut butter powder, which went on to become an Amazon Bestseller within six months of launch.
