Emori was founded by Arushi, a management graduate from IIM Calcutta and an engineering graduate from Panjab University, who has over 10 years of experience in the online and consumer tech industries. Her career began in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and continued through consulting firms and OYO, where she worked on revenue and product-led growth. Her early connection with diamonds came from her grandparents in Surat, combined with a concern for the environmental impact of traditional diamond mining. Discovering lab-grown diamonds, which offered affordability, sustainability and similarity to natural diamonds, led her to start Emori and pursue her entrepreneurial ambitions.
