Zen Barefoot

Zen Barefoot was founded by Sahib, an athlete who was preparing for marathons day in and day out until he got injured, having actually injured himself over a span of two months before it became too much one day. After ten physiotherapist and doctor visits, the culprit was identified as his super expensive running shoes, which he describes as the cause of his injury. While recovering, he noticed that many people in the rehab industry in the West wore foot-shaped, thin-soled, zero-cushion barefoot shoes. When he tried to find good quality barefoot shoes, they were either too expensive to import or of very low quality, so he quit his job and started Zen Barefoot, described on the site as India’s first barefoot shoe company.
